Fashion For A Cause

 Everyone should see fashion this way. Fashion does not only apply when you were your dresses, skirts, pants, shirts, etc... it exists in everything you do.Like Coco Chanel says, "fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”

Take a dear friend of mine, DJ. She is dressing up in pink for the whole month of May for her mother's legacy. Her mother died from cancer and so in her honor she will dress pink for the whole month. 
We (DJ, Mayra, and I)  recently  graduated with our BA from UMUC. It is a great accomplishment for all of us to get our BA ( I skipped out the graduation to go the ball but I was with them in spirit during our graduation. lol)
And to make her mom even prouder, she honors her legacy as well during her graduation day.
