Trend Alert: Pussy bow blouse

I see this trend in many fashion magazines and I love it. I am a big fan of pussy bow blouses. I think it shows the ladies of 1940’s glamour and decadence. This fall, you can wear this trend with practically everything. From leather pants to trousers and slacks and you definitely rock them with shorts and skirts. They are a fall staple with your fall attire so get your pussy bow blouse.

These photos were taken last fall but it’s one of my favorite photos of me and the hubster because it portrays what falls feel like to me. I have mentioned many times before that fall is my favorite season. To me, the falling and rustic leaves portray love in the air. This is the time everyone gets ready for winter hibernation with their significant other or family.
As a fashionista, you can begin to wear your beautiful romantic dresses. Or you can mix and match from knit wear of shorts, skirts, tops, etc. I especially love wearing knee high stockings and leggings. Stockings and legging, from my point of view, is a seductive piece of garment. It covers you up yet is still very sexy. It’s still a little warm here in the east coast but I can’t wait until I get to fully dress up in my fall attire. What’s your favorite season and why?

On me:
Rust plaid romper, $24.95
Vintage beaded bracelet, Vintage treasures in Panama city
Knit over the knee off white socks, $36.00
Shearling leather boots, $35.00
Off white knit beanie, $24.95 bakers shoes store
Woven brown and beige belt. $10.95

The best dress a girl can wear….

I saw a bunch of girls’ blogging about their wedding so I was inspired to blog about my best dress as well. I think the best dress a girl can wear is her wedding dress. With the right person, it is the happiest day of her life with the most memorable dress she can wear. I have three dresses with this memory. One is my main wedding in Oahu Hawaii for the wedding ceremony at Makapuu beach and then next is my reception dress at Waikiki Rotating Tower restaurant. I also have my Vegas Elvis renewal wedding dress a year later. All my dresses are special to me since it is worn in an event with the most wonderful man I have ever met….

On me:

Leather always makes me feel like a bad girl….

Every girl wants to be bad girl from time to time. If you are like me, who doesn’t really want to act on it but just look it, Channel the rocker look instead. Rocker chicks exude the bad girl look perfectly. With their leather jackets or pants, mini skirts or shorts, hair accessories and make-up, they portray sexiness that all guys fantasize about from time to time and most women would like to be once in a while
So channel your inner bad girl… and have some rocker chic fun.

Oh and I wore this outfit to go shopping with the hubby and Titan. Titan, like most guys hated shopping. lol

On me:

Vintage Brixton hat, $7.99
Lambskin quilted Chanel, $2975.00
Jeffrey Campbell France boots, $180
Faux leather puff sleeve biker jacket, $49.95
Fucshia black and pink striped jersey skirt, $14.95 forever21 stores
Dark green ring,

Gwen Stefani..she's my favorite rocker girl.

Renaissance Festival

It was my first renaissance festival so I wanted to dress like I at least belong in the event. I wore a maxi lace dress because it feels very fairy-like and bought a head piece from one of their vendors to add to the touch and for my souvenir. I also wore my brown faux leather boots since it has been raining lately and I wanted to wear shoes that I didn't mind getting muddy.
It was definitely an interesting experience. With jousting, man eating sword, acrobats, good food and music- its definitely worth the experience. Now I can cross that off my list to do:)

On me:
Maxi lace bella dress, $89.00
Brown faux leather boots, $29.95
Brown floppy hat, $24.95 zara stores
Brown leather belt, bought in italy

Vintage project: Asymmetrical dress

This is not one of my best project but I am still happy how it turned out. I got this purple dress only because it came with this rad sheer coat that I wanted. See blog,

This dress was too big, too long, too frumpy and I didn’t really know what to do with it. So I just decided to make it into one of those assymetrical dress trend that is everywhere. I shortened the front, cut the sleeves and left a little bit more material in the bag. Now I have another cute dress just to strut around everyday with. YAY:D

p.s don't mind me. I am a hotmess from a long day at office day job:/

on me:
Vintage dress, $6.99 (came with a sheer overlay)
Asos platform boots, $128.00

Part three of my 30th celebration is a Pin-up theme party. I love dresses up. I love the olden glamour and beauty so why not do pin-up theme. I asked a couple of my friends here in DC what they thought and they all agreed it would be fun. Few of my friends gave me tips on decorations and gift bags and activities. In the end, it was a night of karaoke, hula hoop contest, games, and picture crazy of fun. Enjoy the pictures!
