I love having the time to do my vintage projects. I have been doing my homework for MBA class, Economics of Management, early so this weekend I had my whole weekend free to do my pending vintage projects. I got to do three so yay. (3rd vintage project, I have no photo as of yet)
The first is this Tawny or Rust color peplum dress I found while vintage shopping in Dallas Texas . It was tacky looking but I knew it had potential. I cut off the sleeves and shortened the hemline and now I have a sophisticated dress to wear out to me and the hubby’s dinner dates.
On me:
Vintage Rust Peplum Dress, found in Dallas Texas
Lambskin quilted Chanel, $2975.00 Chanel.com
Black faux suede wedge, $42.00 amazon.com
Spike ring, $14.95 asos.com
Arrow spike earrings, $9.80 forever21.com
The second project is a green/red/blue/black Tartan dress. When I saw it, I immediately thought-modern Irish lol. I wanted to update the frumpy long sleeve look so I chopped it off and made it sleeveless and cut the hem. I think showing a bit of legs adds sexiness to any outfit. I wore this revamped tartan to go shopping this Sunday and mixed it with leather for a bit of rocker chic look.
On me:
Vintage green/red/blue/black Tartan dress, UniqueVintageStore.com
Black faux leather biker jacket, $49.95 forever21.com
Red envelope clutch $35.00 DSW store
Messeca Jesenia fringe heels, $77.00 shopnastygal.com
Vintage leather navy thin belt, UniqueVintageStore.com
Spike ring, $14.95 asos.com
Arrow spike earrings, $9.80 forever21.com
Hope you all like my vintage revamped projects. More to come…..
