Girls just wanna have fun

I love that 80’s song because I can definitely relate to it. I like to have fun!
Life should be fun and we should try to live it to the fullest. That’s my goal- live life to its fullest with no regrets. I shop love to shop, travel the world, snowboard, and experience any opportunities that comes my way.
My idea of having fun applies to fashion as well. Fashion should be fun and not restricted with rules. If it’s a hit then it is a “YAY” for me. If it’s miss then… who cares?! Why should I care what anyone thinks, it is my expression and it’s fun for me.

I decided to have fun with my Saturday shopping outfit this past weekend. I found this Disney top with Daisy duck on it from Target. It was super cute with pink prints. I decided to toughen it up with leather pants and harness boots and my vintage brixton hat. It’s definitely a fun “ME” outfit.

Thanksgiving….

Three thanksgivings ago, while I was still in the military, I got deployed to Iraq. Even though, like many soldiers I knew I had to serve my country, I was reluctant to go. In Iraq, I met my wonderful husband and I am thankful everyday for God’s blessings in disguise. I am thankful for bestfriend, rock and hero, my husband Tommy, the cutest pup ever Titan, all my wonderful friends around the world, my awesome family, and God’s continuous blessings. I am also thankful that my wonderful hubby supports my love for fashion and encourages me to achieve my dream. Happy thanksgiving everyone! Let’s keep the troops in our thoughts and prayers who has to spend this holiday away from their families.

This thanksgiving, we didn’t go to our parent’s to spend thanksgiving. Since we are trying to have some leave for Christmas, we opted to stay local. What better way to spend thanksgiving than to spend it with your friends from your hometown that lives around the area as well. Our friends from Guam, the Malinao’s hosted an Island style thanksgiving with barbeque, red rice, kelaguin and more yummy island food. They did however have a turkey so my hubby was in luck. Lol. It was a great thanksgiving with delicious food and awesome friends. More pictures to come….

DIY: studded booties

I finally did it! I finally finished my DIY studded JC lita studded look a-like. After months and months of stalling, I finally got the right tools to finish my beautiful studded booties.
Initially, I used glue to put the studs together but since I am a  very clumsy girl that trips a lot on herself, some of my studs fell off:/ Luckily, a fellow fashionista friend of mine, Paul, told me about his DIY studded project and that he bought leather puncher. So I got one and boom- I finally have my very own studded booties.

What you need:
Lace up leatherette booties, $41.95 GoJane.com
Leather hole puncher, $19.99 amazon.com
Stud cones, price varies studsandspikes.com

Once I get more studs, I will attempt to do the heels.

My DIY studded booties cost less than $80 dollars compared to the jeffrey campbell studded Lita with a price range of $189-224. yay for DIY!

If you want the original JC studded lita for $185-$229, get them @

Autumn love

I love the season when the leaves turn yellowish/orange and it slowly falls into the ground. There’s serenity about this season….
I also love the color of clothing that comes out around this time. Their rich colors combined with the season makes me want to dress up like I belong in a romantic movie. Lol.
I got the head piece I am wearing from asos.com. I loved the idea of wine color flowers to wear as a head piece. It makes me feel like a wood fairy or wood goddess. I combined it with a green dress from forever 21 and black wedges with my vintage luxe coat I found while I was in Dallas Texas. Don’t you just love autumn….

On me:

Vintage black coat with floral engraving décor, Found in Dallas Texas
Asos floral head piece, $14.95
Dark Green low back dress, $22.95 forever21.com
Privelege black faux suede wedges, $42.00 amazon.com
Leaf ring, $12  lulus.com

Lazy Sunday

My Sundays are my lazy days. I like dressing up but Sundays I can live in my pajamas with an over size tee and I am good to go. But if I do have to go out and about then my outfit consists of anything I can put on easily. Leggings or jeans, loose tank, and biker boots are pretty my much go-to lazy look. Just add a statement necklace, rad rings/earrings and a hat and there you go- a casual- yet still stylish look.

I wore this outfit for a Sunday of doing errands with the hubby, lunch date and hanging out outdoors with titan before lounging out to do some homework (boo!)
